Q: |
What level of protection should I choose? |
|
A: |
Together with one of our Armoring Specialists we will establish your
needs for complete security and choose a level right for you. The Level
most common in the USA is the Handgun Level, which uses ½ inch
thick glass and ballistic steel, and guarantees protection from handguns
such as, .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum, 9mm, and .38 Special’s. If a client
has the need for protection against lager threats, like the M-16 and AK-47,
we also offer Assault Rifle Levels of protection. |

How much weight does the armoring add to the vehicle? |
|
A: |
The weight added to a handgun level vehicle can range from 300 to 700
pounds, depending on the model of vehicle. For the assault rifle levels
of protection we add about 1,000 to 4,000 pounds depending on the level
of protection, material used in the armoring process, and size of the
vehicle. Careful consideration is used to ensure each the armoring level
